Hey! I'm Gail Antosh, an 18 year old girl who was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. I am the youngest in a family of six with three older sisters, one brother, and a stellar mom who raised all of us (that's not including the in-laws of course). My family is extremely important to me and I can definitely say that my siblings are my best friends. Being a recent high school graduate, I've finally had the time to really explore the things I love. I'm such an outdoorsy person and look for any opportunity I can to be in the mountains only and couple hours away! This mainly includes hiking or camping. The arts have also been of interest to me whether it is through sketching, painting, or the entertainment side of things with movies or plays. I'm all about the classic trilogies like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, etc. The list of epics I love could go on forever. Traveling is also pretty swell. I've only been to places like Montreal, B.C., Texas, Mexico, and Ecuador, but I have dreams of going to Israel, Japan, New Zealand, and most recently Africa. Some of my smaller hobbies include people watching (who doesn't love it?), playing Zelda on Super Nintendo, laughing until I've gained abs of steel, the discovery channel, indie music, and last but not least reading. C.S. Lewis, Jane Austen, and good old Paul himself are amongst my favorites. I really love meeting new people and discovering the different things God has placed in them, whether it is a sweet cultural background or killer sense of humor. I am extremely pumped for the people I will meet on this trip and the lifelong friends they will become. I'm also excited to see how God use me to have a further impact in Africa. My heart is willing and ready to be a true disciple of Christ wherever whenever.
